CIRCULAR WEEK 2021 “Boosting circular economy: best practices in the Mediterranean region” Webinar, 14 October 2021

The Green Growth Community projects EMBRACE, GRASPINNO PLUS and finMED will share their best practices and lessons learnt in the fields of food systems and eco-innovation across the Mediterranean region in the Circular Week 2021 organised by Innowo and the Polish Circular Hotspot, with a webinar on Thursday 14th October 2021.

The Green Growth Community projects EMBRACE, GRASPINNO PLUS and finMED will share their best practices and lessons learnt in the fields of food systems and eco-innovation across the Mediterranean region in the Circular Week 2021 organised by Innowo and the Polish Circular Hotspot, with a webinar on Thursday 14th October 2021.

In the first half of the webinar, the GGC partners CUEIM, ERRIN, Dynamic Vision and CENER 21 will be sharing their insights on transferring methodologies focusing on the policy perspective. CUEIM will give the opening remarks to the attendees, followed by three short keynote speeches. The first one from Heidi Johansson (ERRIN) delving into how to promote the uptake of the GGC results into policy frameworks. The second one from Natalia Tsami (Dynamic Vision) will be focused on transferring methodology at green growth level. Nadira Berbic (CENER 21) will close this round of keynote speeches sharing her insights into the main barriers and the transfer potentialities in the Balkan region.

The second half of the webinar will be dedicated to the GGC projects’ best practices. Javier Sancho (SARGA) will share the transferring methodology and lessons learnt from the EMBRACE project. From finMED Elisa Peinetti, from Piemonte Region (finMED Coordinator) and Valantis Ketikidis from CERTH, will be explaining the results of sharing the finMED support service tools in Greece (Western Macedonia). Massimo Ianniciello (Terre di Siena Lab) will close the second part of the webinar with the GRASPINNO PLUS lessons learnt on how to increase green growth capacity in Mediterranean territories by applying the project’s Life Cycle Costing tool.

All the attendees will have the opportunity to dive deeper into some of the topics shared by the speakers during the Q&A at the end of the event.
